Hurricane Touchdown!! / Transcendent Evolution!! The Golden Digimentals

When Takeru and Hikari see a crying Digimon and a blond boy and the older Chosen Children vanish into thin air, Daisuke, Miyako, and Iori fly to America to help track down the strange boy and Digimon.

After a problem with their flight, Daisuke, Miyako, and Iori run into the same blond boy, named Wallace, and his Digimon Terriermon, whom he calls Gummymon. The group must return to Summer Memory, a small town in Colorado, where Wallace was raised, but the journey is long. Along the way, Daisuke slowly learns that the Digimon Wallace calls Chocomon is also his partner Digimon and that they most likely will have to kill Chocomon to save it.

Takeru and Hikari finally meet up with the group, and together, they fight Chocomon in its Ultimate form, Cherubimon. Patamon and Tailmon evolve to Seraphimon and Holydramon and release the Golden Digimentals, Daisuke’s Digimental of Miracles and Wallace’s Digimental of Fate, allowing V-mon and Terriermon to evolve to Magnamon and Rapidmon, who are able to defeat and heal Cherubimon, but at the cost of its life.
